Open Programmes are short and intensive programmes that help corporate executives get answers to the most pressing questions. The strong practical focus means you can immediately apply what you have learned to drive results for yourself and your organisation.
Launched in 2021, the Executive Certificates are a series of structured and rigorous learning programmes designed for experienced professionals who are seeking to develop essential skills for future career transitions or looking to build solid knowledge foundation with the most up-to-date management insights. Mostly taught face-to-face during weekends over an extended period, the Executive Certificates maximises organisational and personal impact while minimising disruption to work and family life.
2. What kind of qualification would I receive?
All programmes offered by Executive Education enhance the professional development of leaders at different career stages. These programmes are non-credit bearing. A certificate of attendance will be awarded by the HKU Business School to participants upon completion.
3. Where will the programmes be held?
The programmes in Hong Kong will be held in either Cyberport campus or HKU Business School campus or Town Centre campus. For the customised programmes, the courses could be held at either a venue of clients’ choice or one of the campuses of the University of Hong Kong.
4. Who can apply for the programmes offered by Executive Education?

5. Will Employers recognize the certificate offered by Executive Education?
All programmes are designed for skill development with both academic rigour and practice orientation. The recognition of certification is at the discretion of the employers on an individual basis.

8. How does a typical class look like in Executive Education?
Most programmes accommodates to 25 – 35 participants who bring along with them diverse industry experience and cultural backgrounds. Seats are limited, and early application is strongly recommended.
