HKU Business School Executive Programme

Doing Business

with China

 2.0

The Opportunity

Why China 2.0

China has undergone a fundamental shift, and so must your approach to doing business with China. Once known primarily as the “world’s factory”, the country is now a global leader in areas such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.

At the same time, shifting geopolitical dynamics and evolving domestic policies are reshaping how global organisations engage with China.

For international leaders, outdated assumptions and second-hand information are no longer enough. You need first-hand exposure, grounded insight, and credible access to China’s business, policy, and innovation ecosystems.

Voices of Experience

Client Experiences & Trusted Testimonials

“The programme was very robust. Beginning with China’s development and its role in the world, it showcased how the use of new technologies, including AI, Industry 5.0, and quantum computing, are pushing the country’s economic agenda forward. I also valued the thoughtful discussions on ethics in this new technological era. What impressed me most were the HKU team’s values of humility, patience, and perseverance, expressed with such genuine passion. These values were evident not only in the classroom, but also throughout the company visits.”

“The EY Entrepreneur of The Year Ireland programme worked closely with the HKU team to deliver a bespoke Executive Education Programme for successful Irish business leaders visiting HK. The HKU team and professors were truly amazing to work with. The attention to detail in their delivery was remarkable, as they made their presentations relevant and relatable to the Irish business leaders who are looking to expand into the Asian market. The group gained valuable insights and knowledge from the professors who executed their delivery in a very engaging way. Feedback from our delegates has been extremely positive.”
